Flyr is live, the probably most digital and customer centric airline in the world!

As of this week, the new Norwegian airline Flyr is bookable. It was a pleasure for us to make the unthinkable possible together with the highly motivated team at Flyr and to be a birthing partner for the world's first pure NDC/ONE Order based airline.

This agile project was completed in just 6 months, from initial kick-off to go-live.

As a company, we are celebrating this very special moment and it fills us with pride. Being one of the earliest adopters of NDC and ONE Order, we always believed in this future world of airline retailing.

With this project, we were able to prove, that the IATA standards have meanwhile reached the maturity that an airline can enter the market completely without the ballast of outdated industry solutions.

Live. Not yet another prototype. Key features:

  • AirBroker ONE OMS with integrated reservations and inventory is used, instead of a classical PSS

  • Distribution fully based on NDC, both internal and external, for B2C and B2B

  • Just in time production of new and variable products

  • Simplicity first - for both, the customer and the airline

  • No tickets, no RBDs, no traditional fare filing

  • Continuous pricing, thanks to real-time integration with the state-of-the-art revenue management system Eddy by Kambr

  • Real-time integration with accounting (SAP), no traditional Revenue Accounting

  • Bidirectional real-time integration with DCS (ink)
